LINKS
I have separated out the links of those folks/companies that I mention in the book. All of the places shown, I feel, have excellent products and services, but will be removed if I receive sufficient feedback that they do not live up to my expectations. However, I repeat what I wrote in the book, I am not guaranteeing or warranting anything. These are merely suggestions and conveniences for those who choose to use them.

For cold/wet weather, like in Oregon and Washington, Byran uses fleece garments from thefleecelady@aol.com. She currently only has a children's apparel website, but I have a pair of tights she made and have seen Byran's vest, and they are excellent.
I love my Felt bike but your choice shold be whatever fits best.
TOURS: Bike Touring Companies seem to be everywhere, especially New England. VBT is the best known, but here are some others you might try: Bike Vermont and New England Bike Tours. Obviously, I cannot ride with these folks, but for those who prefer a single gender ride, you might contact them.
Rail Trails - If you ride the Katy Trail, The Doll House B&B offers superior lodging at a great price. See Ramblings and Excerpts for additional comments.
